SRI LANKA – VISA

STEP 1: Student will arrive to Sri Lanka on an Entry Visa for a validity period of 30 days initially. 

STEP 2: On behalf of the student, SLIIT obtains Entry Visa for student after the submission of the following documents: 

• Translated birth certificate 

• Valid Passport information page 

• Police clearance report from country of domicile 

• Health Assessment report from country of domicile 

STEP 3: Student is then required to visit the Sri Lankan High Commission in their Home Country to get the passport stamped with the Entry Visa. 

STEP 4: After the arrival of the student to Sri Lanka, SLIIT will assist to convert the Entry Visa to a one year Residence Visa which is required to be renewed each year until the end of the duration of the degree programme. 

STEP 5: Defense security clearance, health assessment docs to be submitted during the Residence Visa conversion.
