Indonesia – Visa

Please note

that the visa application process and the list of required documents may change at any time. Make sure to get the latest information on Indonesian visa regulations directly from the Indonesian embassy in your home country. Getting a visa to a foreign country should never be taken for granted and cannot be guaranteed by Asia Exchange in any way. Please also refer to our terms and conditions. All students accepted to study abroad at Udayana University, Warmadewa University, and UNDIKNAS need to get a student visa. We recommend all students start the application process for the visa as soon as they get the required documents.

Applying for a student visa

In Indonesia, a student visa belongs to the Short-course visa category. The Indonesian Embassy grants single-entry short course visas with the University visa agent for students to study in Indonesia (Index C9).

With the Short-course visa, you can stay a maximum of 60 days in Indonesia. The visa must be extended at the destination according to the instructions given by the visa agent. Each extension is valid for another 60 days and can be extended twice.

Below, you will find a summary of the application process for the Short-Course visa and other visa options. However, please note that visa regulations may change at any time and without prior notice. Therefore, we recommend all students consult their local embassy websites for the most up-to-date information.
